A Hudson River Journey is a traveling exhibit and lecture series produced by Riverkeeper in honor of the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson's voyage to our shores. It tells the story of the Hudson River from three perspectives—before Dutch settlement, present day and our possible future. The visitor travels to six regions along the Hudson River and experiences river stories relevant to each region.
Our 10 panel display, containing 7 digital slideshows, can be installed in any location, indoor or outdoor. We have a 10'x10' white tent that holds the display, recommended for outdoor settings. The panels can also be mounted on the wall in any type of indoor setting.
Riverkeeper experts are available to give lectures on the content covered in A Hudson River Journey. Lectures are tailored for the audience and can be given to school groups, community groups and specialty audiences with more in depth knowledge of the subject matter. An honorarium to Riverkeeper is requested in exchange for both offerings.
A Glimpse of the Lenape: The Night Before, a brochure produced with the Austen-Stokes Foundation is available for distribution at events and lectures, and for download from this site
