Join the Newtown Creek Alliance and project partners from Evergreen Exchange and Interval Projects for the release of their community-led design of the DEP-owned Gateway to Greenpoint parcel. Following a year long process, including multiple community visioning workshops and stakeholder meetings, the project team has completed a final design for this 12,000 square foot site to create open space, environmental benefit, educational opportunities and connection with other public spaces, such as the Newtown Creek Nature Walk.
Learn more about the design and next steps forward as NCA works with the City to bring this long offered opportunity closer to reality. The event will include a presentation on the design, opportunity to see the site up close as well as food/beverage and tours of NCA’s Kingsland Wildflowers at Broadway Stages’ green roof.
