Columbia-Greene Trout Unlimited meeting to learn about water quality sampling in the Roeliff Jansen Kill this season

Beginning this May, Riverkeeper will partner with local residents to test the Roeliff Jansen Kill for Enterococcus, an indicator of fecal contamination. Samples will be processed at the Bard Water Lab.

Dan Shapley, Water Quality Program Manager, will discuss the study at Columbia-Greene Trout Unlimited’s monthly meeting. The meeting will take place Tuesday, May 17, at 6:30 p.m. at the Crosswinds Community Center Building, 12 Rogers Lane, Hudson. The location of the development is directly across from the softball fields at the Firemans Home on Harry Howard Avenue. The Community Center Building is at the Hudson Middle School end of the complex.
