Riverkeeper will join other river enthusiasts at the annual Kingston Kayak Festival.
When Riverkeeper started work cleaning the Hudson more than four decades ago, few sought out the river for recreation; today we can celebrate the progress we’ve made by the enthusiasm for kayaking and other water recreation. Learn about Riverkeeper’s work to protect the Hudson River, and our water quality testing program.
And, of course, take advantage of the opportunity to try out various models of kayaks, learn from experienced guides and enjoy a day on the Hudson River with others who share your love of the water.
The Kingston Kayak Festival is organized by the Kingston Parks and Recreation and Kenco, which is a sponsor of the 2012 Riverkeeper Sweep.
Tickets cost $10 and can be purchased ahead of time online at kingstonkayakfestival.info.
