The Hudson River is the original highway of our region. The towns and cities along the river have waterfronts that were designed as public marketplaces to ship and receive goods. There was a time when hundreds of sailboats moved everything from food to people to building materials up and down the Hudson. Honoring this tradition and responding to modern environmental challenges a new sail freight movement is being born. Join the crew of the Schooner Apollonia for a presentation about their work to bring this elegant carbon neutral mode of transportation back to our region.
