The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation's Hudson River Estuary Program will be hosting a Science on the River Day and open house on Saturday, September 23 from 2pm-5pm at the Norrie Point Environmental Center. Science on the River Day features hands-on interactive demonstrations showcasing research and restoration projects taking place throughout the Hudson Valley. The Children's Exploratorium allows younger participants to play hands-on educational games while they learn about the Hudson River Estuary. map
